2024 to 2025 saw historic highs in investment in military infrastructure amidst rising global conflict. To balance this cost the aid and development budgets of many countries have been slashed, shrinking funding in the grant space.

But for the Church the Biblical vision for peace & justice remains the same…

Being a disciple of Christ carries a commitment to peace and justice wherever we are in the world:

“They will beat their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
nor will they train for war anymore.

Come, descendants of Jacob,
let us walk in the light of the Lord.”

Isaiah 4:4b-5

Be a part of investing in those who build peace.

Not the abstract idea of it, but a peace rooted in transforming difficult relationships, providing different futures for youth and training Churches to build bridges in their communities.

These actions ripple out through our communities and into our world.

Help us invest in these peacebuilders

Zaharaddeen & Alex, project leaders of KCC centres in Nigeria

They work with youth from across ethnic and religious divides, bringing them together to teach them computer skills and get them involved in practical community activities in the community.

Ramy & Roula, founders of Al Shabiba Risala in Lebanon

Through their peace centre in Beirut, Ramy, Roula and their team mentor youth from all backgrounds to be peace leaders in a divided middle east; confronting prejudice, disrupting violence and building resilience.

CRUDAN team, working across Churches in Nigeria

Throughout their network of over 200 churches and bible colleges across Nigeria, CRUDAN work to equip the Church to respond to conflict and sustain community transformation initiatives in diverse communities.

CHIPS teams, Brixton UK & Nakpayilli Ghana

With their teams in Brixton and Northern Ghana, CHIPS staff live in the heart of divided communities to build relationships across divides and live out the teachings of Jesus.

Sahlim, founder of Re-Imagining New Communities, Kenya

Sahlim and Grace head up Re-Imagining New Communities in Kenya. They work to involve youth in local peace processes and lead workshops with Church leaders to tackle conflict within their congregations and address divisions in their communities.

And the impact doesn’t stop there. These projects don’t just build peace in their communities, their learnings (practical & theological) provide an evidence base for Christian peacebuilders and learnings for the Church around the world.

End of year appeal…

Where our focus in 2025 has been strengthening the capacity of our implementing partners (read about that here), a key priority in 2026 will be exploring funding opportunities to sustain these projects further.

We’ve hired a new staff for the new year who will be part of making that happen!

The end of year appeal is critical for ensuring we go into the new year in good position…
