Why give?

Dahieh (indicated red on the map), a densely populated community in south Lebanon, bombed on 27th September, is three miles from Al Shabiba Risala’s Peace Centre in Bourj Hammoud.

Since this escalation of violence Al Shabiba Risala have been actively hosting 47 individuals in the new Peace Centre, providing essential services, educational support for children, community meals, and sending out food parcels to the most vulnerable in the community.

They have physical capacity to house and care for 60 displaced people and need more financial capacity to meet this need.

They are also engaging with the broader community in Bourj Hammoud and beyond, building strong partnerships with the local Municipality, other organisations and health care services.
