Following Jesus towards paths of peace

Faith-motivated, evidence-led peacebuilding: solutions for churches and faith-based organisations for bridging divides and building sustained peace in their communities.

We partner with churches and faith-based organisations to promote the tenets of forgiveness, justice, truth-telling and reconciliation by supporting them to plan, deliver and reflect on the impact and sustainability of their peacebuilding work.

Conflict Analysis

We support our faith partners to take a systems view in analysing the role religious institutions, actors and theologies play in driving conflict or catalysing peace.

Programme Design

We support our faith partners to draw on their distinctive strengths as well as their theologies of peace and reconciliation as we walk with them to take an evidence-led approach to their programme designs. We support them to think through their own assumptions about change as they consider their Christian lens and conception of spiritual transformation.

Monitoring & Evaluation

We support our faith partners to be committed to understanding the actual changes resulting from their peacebuilding and to use these learnings to improve their programmes to have a greater impact.

Stories of the Future with CHiPS in Ghana

Seek Peace used a conflict analysis tool called 'Stories of the Future' to encourage community elders, local politicians, religious leaders and CHiPs Ghana staff to visualise and help prevent future conflict through the use of story.

We are passionate about the Church and believe that it's been given a mandate to act as a catalyst for peace and reconciliation in every community.

We support our partners to achieve this by providing consultancy support, targeted training and by releasing strategic funding for them to invest in what it will take for them to manage their work in a faith-motivated, evidence-led way.

We are a registered UK charity providing specialised services to other religious organisations working for peace.

Building a Theory of Change for KCT Centres in Nigeria

Seek Peace worked with the KCT Centres to develop a Theory of Change (ToC) for their six centres, to work with their staff to establish frameworks for gathering project learnings around their peacebuilding goals, and to use these learnings to help the team start their seventh centre focused on promoting peaceful coexistence between IDP populations and indigenous peoples in Jos North, Nigeria.
